About Dannie:
Dannie Fitzgerald earned her AA in Psychology through Western Wyoming Community College, her BA in Psychology with an emphasis in substance use from Argosy University, and received her graduate degree from Grand Canyon University in Christian Counseling of Substance Use and Addictive Disorders. While attending each college, she made the Dean’s List at each one.
She has worked in the counseling field since 2018. Group therapy (teen and adults), is her highly regarded work. Working with adults to transform and adapt to a new self. Setting goals with follow through and continue with a strength-based, person-centered approach to help with addictions. Teen building programs, Balanced Teen Group - socialization, self-care, intervention along with mindsets. Helping teens adapt and cope with challenges at school, home, and at times, work. Helping teens learn their strengths, needs, vision, culture, and overall health along with helping with their substance use.
Dannie is dedicated to enhancing a balanced, and enjoyable relation between practitioner and client. To build a place where the client is encouraged to work towards their full potential in all aspects of their lives. She focuses on strength-based and person-centered approaches with her clients.
In her down time, she enjoys hiking, biking, camping, fishing, hunting, family time and her dog Aspen. And when she has a moment, maybe getting in a good book or two!
