About Mel:

Mel Rayne-Martin began working in the mental health field as a Community Based Rehabilitation Service specialist and Case Manager in 2016. They went on to graduate from Northwest Nazarene University with a Master’s in Social Work in 2022, and they love working with nonprofit agencies to serve and support the neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Mel enjoys working with teens and adults of all ages, and focusing on the power of connection and self-awareness to build inner strength and wisdom. Mel uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and they are currently studying EMDR and somatic therapy modalities for trauma. They have experience working with anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and specialize in personalized and collaborative approaches to coping with and overcoming trauma. Mel is passionate about suicide prevention and the power of community.
